ISSA MEHABOOB

An enthusiastic photographer from a small town named Alleppey in Kerala, was born in May 1986. Life’s journey eventually brought him to the city of skyscrapers, Dubai. While his surroundings changed, his heart remained captivated by the lush greenery of the jungle. His photographic journey began in 2015 with a Canon still camera, and his first encounter with the wild ignited a lifelong passion.

Though he had adored mountains since childhood, their ascent seemed insurmountable at a young age. Years later, he conquered his fear, climbed the challenging hill, and discovered his first beloved creature, the leopard. This marked the beginning of his dedicated wildlife expeditions. Issa has since mentored countless aspiring photographers, sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm. Through his stunning images, he strives to conserve nature and highlight the importance of animals.

A childlike wonder and anticipation still sparkled in Issa's eyes as he ventured into the wild. Each expedition was a thrilling adventure, filled with equal measures of excitement and apprehension. The rustling of leaves, the distant call of an animal, and the unpredictable nature of the wilderness kept his senses on high alert. His camera was an extension of himself, capturing not just images, but stories and emotions that connected people with the natural world.
